John "Dex" Dexter
Dex has been playing fantasy football since 1994, back when Jerry Rice was his first-fantasy pick and “research” meant reading a magazine. A lifelong Chiefs fan and converted Vikings fan after having season tickets from 1998-2005, John knows the highest highs and the lowest lows—mostly courtesy of kickers who couldn’t hit chip shots (Lin Elliott, Gary Anderson, Blair Walsh… he remembers them all). A former college cross country and track runner who played just about every sport growing up, John brings playful confidence and decades of fantasy wisdom to the mic—along with one ironclad rule: never let a kicker decide your fate. 😂
Brent "Chiz" Chism
Chiz has been a sports fan since birth, and when I say sports, I mean all of them. A fan of baseball, football, soccer, basketball, UFC, golf - if it's sports, he wants to talk it with you. A lifelong fan of Kansas City and Mizzou sports, he added a love for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in his early 20s. Chiz loved playing all the sports growing up - to a spectacularly mediocre level, but with loads of heart. He's the marketer of the Shrewdness, and the one who loves to laugh.
Ryan "Pru" Pruett
Ryan "Pru" Pruett is an Engineering Manager by day, sports afficionado by night (and day too). Pru lives in the Kansas City metro area with his wife and kids, and enjoys watching the Chiefs and Royals, playing golf, and smoking ribs, turkey, and anything else that will fit in a smoker LIKE EVERY GOOD KANSAS CITIAN SHOULD. He does the vast majority of the editing of The Shrewdness podcast episodes and, if you've been listening to the show for a while, you may know Pru as "the quiet one". Pru is an analytical thinker with a quick wit and easygoing style. Tune in during football season for his weekly gambling picks and his Shrewdness Sleepers and Spuds to help you stay alive in your Guillotine Fantasy Football league.
